Kirk Bohls from The Statesmen is reporting that Texas, Texas Tech, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State will bolt the Big 12 for the Pac-10, leaving a barren wasteland of a conference behind.
Texas A&M is “still on the fence” about joining their Big 12 cohorts, perhaps pondering the merit of wandering the Big 12’s post-apocalyptic expanses, or more realistically, contemplating moving to the SEC.
If A&M decides against the Pac-10 move, it may create an opportunity for Baylor to join the Super Conference. The other Texas university was expected to be left in the cold once Colorado joined up, but maybe their luck is changing.
