Diamondbacks Bullpen Implodes, Chad Qualls Pushes ERA over 7

The Diamondbacks have known all season that their bullpen was incapable of holding a lead. Chad Qualls, the "closer", has blown 4 save opportunities in 13 chances, and has earned himself a 7.64 ERA on the season. Juan Gutierrez has an ERA of 10.00 and 4 losses.

When a casual fan looks at his team and realizes that Aaron Heilman is the best arm in the 'pen, it means that there are dark times here in sunny Arizona. What are the options for this situation?

1. A bullpen "cleanse" of sorts - bring up the best three minor league relievers, regardless of level, and let them learn on the fly in the majors. Does this sound like a bad idea? Would you prefer relying on Qualls?

2. Ask for a mulligan on the Tony Pena trade.

3. Offer the Brewers something for Chris Capuano and make him the closer.

Josh Byrnes needs to make a move, and fast. This team just doesn't inspire me to travel downtown and pay for a ticket.
