Ubaldo Jimenez pitched eight strong innings, giving up six hits and zero runs in a 7-3 Rockies win over the Diamondbacks in Denver on Wednesday.
Jimenez only struck out three batters, but it did not slow him down at all. The Diamondbacks scored their three runs in the ninth inning, teeing off against Rafael Betancourt to make the game look closer than it really was.
With this strong effort, Jimenez moved to 9-1 on the season with an obscene 0.88 ERA.
