Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops is pretty close to his wits' end with all the questions about the Sooners’ BCS Bowl record in recent years (five straight losses). So even when a question that didn't have anything to do with that topic came up Wednesday, Stoops was clearly irritated.
↵Question: How much does the ’We’ve been here before’ factor play into a big game like this?
↵Stoops: "We’ve been here and lost. That doesn’t make us feel any bigger than anyone else. We’ve been here and we’ve been beat up by everybody for having lost it. So let’s not forget that. I’m sure you won’t."
↵(Reporter attempts to clarify, Stoops continues).
↵"We’ve been here and haven’t won, so that’s not a great feeling. And it doesn’t make you feel any better at all than anybody else."
↵(Another reporter tries this question).
↵"Did you guys crown a champion at Fogo de Chao?"
