Arizona Bowl Projections, Week 14: Where The Wildcats Are Alamo-Bound

Win or lose on Thursday evening to the Arizona St. Sun Devils, the Arizona Wildcats are very limited when it comes to bowl possibilities. If Oregon is able to defeat Oregon State, then both the Ducks and Stanford will be locked into BCS bowls. Arizona is currently the only other bowl-eligible Pac-10 squad, and Washington can go bowling with a win over the Washington St. Cougars.

Both Arizona and Washington are 4-4 in Pac-10 play, with the tiebreaker going to the Wildcats (they defeated the Huskies 44-14 on Arizona's homecoming back in October). Should the Wildcats defeat the Sun Devils in the Territorial Cup game, they will go to the Alamo bowl, where they would likely play Oklahoma State.

If the Sun Devils defeat Arizona and Washington wins in the Apple Cup, the Wildcats would drop down to the Holiday bowl in San Diego, taking on Missouri or any number of qualified opponents.

One way or another, Arizona is going bowling this holiday season. Beat ASU, and they're bound for El Paso.
