BCS Rankings, Week 13: Oregon Takes On Arizona in Autzen

The Oregon Ducks are just two wins away from immortality, an undefeated season and a chance to win the BCS National Championship Game. The Arizona Wildcats are their biggest test in the remaining weeks, playing the Ducks in Eugene on Friday evening.

Both teams are coming off lackluster performances. Oregon was barely able to escape Berkeley with the win, scoring only 15 points against the Golden Bears. The Wildcats were defeated by USC a week after getting embarrassed in Palo Alto by Stanford.

Darron Thomas and Oregon have had a full two weeks to prepare for this game, and it is likely that they have ironed out the deficiencies that plagued them in Memorial Stadium. Likewise, the Wildcats were able to rest and improve their health situation, and this match-up should be a good one.

Arizona can surprise people with their quality of play, beating Iowa in September and putting the screws to Washington on homecoming. The Wildcats have a great opportunity here to jump up the BCS standings, where they currently sit at 21st overall.

Oregon, however, will not let the BCS National Championship Game slip through their fingers. They will take care of Arizona and continue their march to Glendale.

Prediction: Oregon 45, Arizona 28
