The college basketball rankings are out, and the Arizona Wildcats and Arizona State Sun Devils are missing. They are no where to be found. Not a single Sun Devil or Wildcat in the top 25 of the college basketball AP or USA Today coaches polls. In fact, the PAC-10 conference isn't exactly living up to their reputation as a great basketball conference -- or even a mediocre college basketball conference.
Only the Washington Huskies break into the land of the relevant with a 15 ranking in the Associated Press poll and 17 in the USA Today coaches poll. The two other teams receiving votes in the polls were the UCLA Bruins who ranked up 15 votes and your Arizona Wildcats got one full point. The Bruins are ranked 42nd in the AP poll while Arizona is 39th. Final Four here we come!
The top of the rankings are made up of the usual suspects with Duke and Michigan State leading the way with the one and two spots in both polls.
Arizona will face the seventh-ranked Kansas Jayhawks later in November while Arizona State have no top-10 ranked teams on the schedule through the end of the year.
