College Football Rankings, Week 6: Arizona Wildcats Move Up to 9

The University of Arizona Wildcats football team had a bye week and as a result of not playing moved up to number 9 in the AP Top 25 College Football Poll.

The Wildcats moved up five spots thanks to losses (or near losses) suffered by Florida, LSU, Wisconsin and Stanford. Utah (4-0), also had a bye this week and moved from 13 to 10.

Quarterback Nick Foles and the Wildcats are back in action next Saturday against the Oregon State Beavers who defeated the ASU Sun Devils yesterday, 31-28.

The Wildcat defense will have its hands full containing speedy running back Jacquizz Rogers who tore through the Sun Devils defense for 145 yards. But if Nick Foles can do just a little bit better job than Steven Threet (3 int.) then Arizona should come out of this game 5-0 with a chance to move up even higher in the BCS rankings.

The game will be in Tucson at 4:00 p.m. local time next Saturday.
