While we may not get a chance to watch the newly-captivating Cardinals, this weekend still has plenty to offer with two Coyotes' games, three exciting MLB playoff matchups, a free UFC card, and a full slate of marquee NCAA and NFL action.

12:30 p.m., ABC-15: NCAA, Texas @ (5) Nebraska. Texas - unranked for the first time since 2000 - looks to upset a merciless Nebraska squad.

4:30 p.m., FOX-10: MLB, San Francisco Giants @ Philadelphia Phillies, NLCS Game 1. T. Lincecum vs. R. Halladay.

4:30 p.m., VS: NCAA, (17) Arizona @ Washington State

6:00 p.m., ESPN2: NCAA, Mississippi @ (8) Alabama. Alabama looks to rebound from their first regular season loss since 2007.

6:00 p.m., FSNAZ: NHL, Detroit Red Wings @ Phoenix Coyotes. The ‘Yotes look for revenge against the Detroit Red Wings in the season home opener.

7:00 p.m., ESPN: NCAA, (24) Oregon State @ Washington. Oregon State looks to continue their momentum after upsetting the Arizona Wildcats, while Washington looks to recover from last week's loss to Arizona State in this Pac-10 match-up.

8:00 p.m., SPIKE: MMA, UFC 120: Bisping vs. Akiyama. From London, England. Also featured on the main card: Carlos Condit vs. Dan Hardy, John Hathaway vs. Mike Pyle, Cheick Kongo vs. Travis Browne, and James Wilks vs. Claude Patrick.

Sunday:

10:00 a.m., CBS-5: NFL, San Diego Chargers @ St. Louis Rams. Once again the Chargers find themselves in an early season hole. They look to rebound from last week's embarrassing loss as San Diego faces off with Sam Bradford and the Rams.

10:00 a.m., FOX-10: NFL, Atlanta Falcons @ Philadelphia Eagles. Many are saying that the Falcons could be the team to beat in the NFC. Matt Ryan & Co. look to make a statement as they travel to Philadelphia to take on Andy Reid and his revolving door of quarterbacks.

1:00 p.m., FOX-10: NFL, Dallas Cowboys @ Minnesota Vikings. In a desperate battle of underachievers, the loser of Dallas/Minnesota looks forward to a 1-4 record, a panicked fanbase, and a probable early elimination from playoff contention.

5:00 p.m., FOX-10: MLB, San Francisco Giants @ Philadelphia Phillies, NLCS Game 2. J. Sanchez vs. R. Oswalt.

5:15 p.m., NBC-12: NFL, Indianapolis Colts @ Washington Redskins. Donavan McNabb and the Washington Redskins, winners of two straight, take aim at Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts.
