2012 NBA Mock Draft: Phoenix Suns Take Austin Rivers

The Phoenix Suns could use more guards on their team regardless of whether Steve Nash stays or goes. Michael Redd and Sebastian Telfair are on the older side, and Shannon Brown is a bit inconsistent. The Suns could afford some athleticism and scoring to really improve the offense and spacing and help Phoenix grow younger.

DraftExpress has this latest mock that has the Suns taking Austin Rivers out of Duke with the pick. Rivers wouldn't be a true point, but he definitely is a guard, and could work very well as a backup point or combo option that could give Phoenix more scoring.
