The Phoenix Suns have only one pick in the 2012 NBA Draft. One mock has Kendall Marshall of the North Carolina Tar Heels getting picked.

The Phoenix Suns have only one pick in the last year draft. They're going to have to make it count.

Draft Express released his latest 2012 NBA Mock, and it has the Suns picking a backup (or perhaps a replacement?) for Steve Nash. The mock has the Suns taking Kendall Marshall of the North Carolina Tar Heels. Marshall was a player who probably could have lifted UNC to another title, but a crucial injury sidelined him during the final part of the tournament and North Carolina was eliminated by Kansas.

Marshall was considered the key for the Tar Heels, and while he's probably not a franchise point guard, he can definitely be a starter in due time. Could be a good player to transition between Nash and the future.

To discuss the prospect of Phoenix drafting Marshall, go to Bright Side of the Sun. To talk about Marshall with North Carolina fans, head on over to Carolina March.
