Stay connected for news and updates

The Phoenix Suns find themselves in need of every win they can get. They didn't get a pretty win on Sunday night, but it was a win and they find themselves once again at .500. They played unevenly but the New Orleans Hornets were simply worse, and the Suns came away with a 92-75 win.

Phoenix pulled ahead early, but the Hornets got back in it and even had a brief lead in the second quarter. From then on, the Suns were in control.

Jared Dudley led all scorers with 21 points on the night. Channing Frye also played well, logging a double-double. He had 14 points and 11 boards to go along with two blocks.

The team got an unlikely boost from Robin Lopez. He had 10 first half points.

New Orleans was dreadful offensively. Only three players scored in double figures.

Phoenix plays next on Tuesday in Sacramento.
