Phoenix Suns Beat Cleveland Cavaliers 108-83 Behind 22 Points From Marcin Gortat, Markieff Morris

On the last of their four-game road trip, the Phoenix Suns go above .500 and evened their trip record to 2-2 with a 108-83 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers. Phoenix started well and got a hude game from rookie Markieef Morris, whose 22 points were tied for the team lead in scoring.

Morris shot 9-12 from the field and appeared to be playing with more energy now in the final stretch of the season than he had earlier.

Steve Nash had a very efficient game. He only took two shots, making both. He finished with only the four points, but had 13 assists.

Marcin Gortat also had 22 points to go with eight boards and two blocked shots.

For Cleveland, they were led by rookie Kyrie Irving's 16 points, but not a single other starter scored in double figures, and Omar Casspi was the only other player on the team to score at least ten. He had 14.

Phoenix held Cleveland to 38.6 percent shooting.

The Suns are one game back of the last playoff spot and are now 25-24.

The play next at home against the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday.
