Mark J. Rebilas-US PRESSWIRE
The Phoenix Suns have morphed into an 'everybody just do their job' kind of team in the preseason and look to continue the post-Steve Nash process on Tuesday against the Warriors.
The Phoenix Suns visit the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday at 10:30 ET as the last week of preseason games continue for the NBA.
The Suns are coming off a 103-88 win over the Sacramento Kings on Monday after getting 25 points from Jared Dudley. The Warriors last played on Monday as well and fell to the Los Angeles Clippers, 88-71, with their leading scorer being Jarrett Jack with 14 points.
The Suns are still figuring out life post-Steve Nash but have proven that they will at least be a competitive out during the regular season. With a veteran lineup that currently starts Goran Dragic, Jared Dudley, Michael Beasley, Luis Scola and Marcin Gortat, there is plenty of toughness and veteran know-how available to keep the Suns at least nipping at the eighth seed in the Western Conference.
The Warriors are in the same position. There hasn't been this much excitement in the Bay Area surrounding the Warriors since the days of Baron Davis and Stephen Jackson. The Warriors are in that mix that the Suns are playing to stay apart of and are wanting to take that next step to join the playoff party. Tuesday should be a good one as the two teams start making the transition into regular-season play.
