Third year forward Wesley Johnson scored 15 points off the bench, but Phoenix fell to the Thunder on the road, 107-97 on Friday night.

Wesley Johnson's strong performance off the bench wasn't enough to carry the Phoenix Suns to victory as they fell, 107-97, to the Oklahoma City Thunder in front of 18,233 at the BOK Center in Tulsa Oklahoma on the road on Friday night.

The result of the game moved each team to a 2-2 record on the preseason.

Johnson put together a respectable line in 28 minutes, going 6-fof-13 and hit 3-of-5 from the arc. P.J. Tucker added 11 points and five rebounds for Phoenix. For the Thunder, Kevin Durant was stellar in his 28 minutes, scoring a game-high 22 points on 8-of-17 shooting, adding four rebounds and two steals.

Oklahoma City dominated the paint, scoring 42 points inside to the Suns' 30. They also won the battle of the boards, 41-38 in the win. They led at the half 46-45, but managed to pull away with a 36-30 third quarter. Phoenix shot an impressive 50 percent from the three point line, but the lack of an inside game proved to be too much to overcome.
