Phoenix Suns Continue Domination Of Milwaukee Bucks, 109-93

For the second home game in a row, the Phoenix Suns took care of business in convincing fashion over a team that had played a game the night before. Having an advantage is one thing, taking advantage is another. The Suns did just that as they notched their 24th consecutive home win over the Milwaukee Bucks, a streak that extends back to 1987.

The Suns put the hammer down early with Steve Nash dicing up the NBA's sixth-best defense to the tune of 12 assists in the first quarter. Channing Frye found his stroke from outside (4-4) and the improved Phoenix defense once again held an opponent to under 100 points.

The Suns improve to 4-4 on the season with the Los Angeles Lakers up next on the schedule for Tuesday in L.A.

With the blow out win, the Suns had seven players in double figures. Nash finished with 17 assists and 10 points in just 27 minutes. Rookie Markieff Morris had 13 points and 10 rebounds and added his own 3-4 shooting from downtown. The Suns as a team were 10-22 from three and shot 56 percent from the field for their best offensive game of the season.

The only flaw for the Suns was on the defensive glass. They gave up nine offensive rebounds in the first half and 11 second chance points to a Bucks team playing without their center, Andrew Bogut. The home team cleaned that up in the third quarter, however, and without those additional opportunities the Suns put up a 34-19 quarter to put the game to bed. The 11-6 rebounding advantage in the third led to 70 percent shooting and seven fast break points.
