Phoenix Suns Vs. Milwaukee Bucks: TV Schedule, Lineups And Preview

The Phoenix Suns have everything lined up for them to get a win at home Sunday against the Bucks. Schedule, history and an opponent missing their best player all work in the Suns favor.

The Phoenix Suns (3-4) catch another break on Sunday night as they play host to the Milwaukee Bucks who will be without their best player (Andrew Bogut, personal reasons). Making things harder for the Bucks and more favorable for another Suns win is the schedule, which had Milwaukee playing Saturday night in Los Angeles. The Bucks lost to the Clippers 86-82 and are just 2-5 on the season.

Making matters even more interesting is the history between these two teams. The Bucks haven't beaten the Suns in Phoenix since February 1987. SB Nation Bucks blog, Brew Hoop has the details of that game:

Bucks Vs. Suns Retro Recap: 9,087 Days Ago The Bucks Actually Won A Game In Phoenix - Brew Hoop
Ten-year veteran guard John Lucas and four-year swingman Ricky Pierce had big nights for the Bucks, but the team did get off to a slow start that would seem familiar to fans of the current team.

The Bucks had a hard time stopping Larry Nance 21 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists, 67.7% TS) and let Walter Davis do some volume scoring (27 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, 6 turnovers, 54.5% TS), but the team rallied behind Lucas (24 points, 10 assists, 6 rebounds, 62.1% TS) and Pierce (22 points, 8 rebounds, 66.6% TS) to take a late 109-95 lead with only 87 seconds left in the game.

Ricky Pierce had flu-like symptoms entering the game, and did not mince his words when asked how he felt after the game: "I feel like [bleep]."

Projected lineups:

The Phoenix Suns have everything going for them to get the win on Sunday night, but all that matters is what they do on the floor. With Bogut out, the Suns should have a significant size advantage in the paint and on the glass.

NBA Game Preview: Phoenix Suns Versus Milwaukee Bucks - Bright Side Of The Sun
The Phoenix Suns look for victory #2 in a row after drubbing the PTL in what was clearly their best game of the season thus far. The opponent tonight are the visiting 2-5 Milwaukee Bucks who are losers of four in a row.

Don't let the Bucks' record deceive you. While managing to lose to the Nuggets, Kings, Clippers, and Jazz, the margin of defeat against some decent WC competition has been near 6 points. In addition, the Bucks have played their last three games without Andrew Bogut, who is in Australia, dealing with, well, no one seems to know, so it's called a "family issue."
