Grant Hill To The New York Knicks? We'll See

The New York basketball media, and the NY Post in particular, has a habit of finding sources that somehow lead to every good player ending up with Knicks. LeBron James to the Knicks? Done deal. Chris Paul to the Knicks? Obviously. Amare Stoudemire and Carmelo Anthony to the Knicks....well, OK, they got that one right.

Now we have a report out of the NY Post that free agent Grant Hill is leaning towards the Knicks:

Grant’s love of New York could bring him to Knicks - NYPOST.com
Grant Hill’s interest in joining the Knicks and being slotted as their starting shooting guard on a potential Eastern Conference contender is growing by the day, and there is a sense he is leaning toward the Big Apple.

Who knows if this is true. I don't doubt someone told the NY Post this information. I'm sure they didn't make it up. But was the source reliable? Does the source have an agenda like driving up the price the Suns will have to pay to keep Grant?

↵

We don't know, but it's going to take a lot more than a report in the NY Post to convince me that Grant Hill isn't finishing his career with the Suns.

↵

And if he chooses to move, that's totally fine too. Grant has certainly earned the right to decide where he plays his final few years and if he goes, we'll miss him and wish him the best.
