Salt Lake City, UT (Sports Network) - Hakim Warrick finished with 18 points and 11 rebounds, while Steve Nash also scored 18 in helping the Phoenix Suns to a 110-94 win over the Utah Jazz.

Jason Richardson added 16 points for the Suns, who sank 10-of-26 three- pointers in rebounding from Tuesday's season-opening loss at Portland. Goran Dragic posted 11 points and six assists off the bench, whileGrant Hill had 12 boards to go with nine points.

Al Jefferson poured in 20 points and hauled in nine boards for the Jazz, who were playing in their home opener after losing Wednesday at Denver to start the season.

Phoenix got out to an early lead thanks to three-point shooting. Nash opened the game by draining one from beyond the arc, and Hedo Turkoglu made back-to- back treys a few minutes later for an 11-2 lead.

Consecutive buckets from Jefferson had the Jazz within 17-15 with five minutes left in the first. Phoenix remained in front for the remainder of the quarter, taking a 27-22 edge into the second, though Utah stayed within striking distance.

The game had developed a certain rhythm, with the Suns pulling in front by several possessions before the Jazz threatened to even the game. But after a Gordon Hayward layup with 10 minutes remaining in the half got Utah within 32-30, the Jazz offense went cold.

Richardson capped the half with a three and a dunk, giving the Suns a 58-42 advantage.

The Jazz used an 11-0 run shortly into the third to get back in the game. Millsap powered it with six points, whileRaja Bell ended it with a jumper for a 60-53 score.

Utah was still within single digits when an Andrei Kirilenko dunk made it 78-69 with 2:42 left in the quarter. But the Suns followed with the next six points, and took an 84-72 lead into the fourth.

Several minutes into the final quarter, Warrick drove for a layup before converting on a three-point play, which gave Phoenix an 89-74 advantage. The Suns led by double digits the rest of the way.

Channing Frye ended with 14 points for the Suns, while Turkoglu had 13...Kirilenko posted 19 points for the Jazz, while point guard Deron Williams had 13 points and six assists...Phoenix had 15 turnovers, leading to 14 Utah points. The Jazz's 16 turnovers led to 17 Suns points.
