Not quite born in Phoenix but moved here in 1972, I consider myself a nearly-native Arizonian. That, plus a passion for sports and a modicum of other assorted talents started me writing about sports and eventually led to this great job as SB Nation's Regional Sports Editor for the Great HOT State of Arizona.
