Field Reporter

Hola amigos... Arizona is home for me now after all of my previous life in the Pacific Northwest. I moved here in February 2010, having left my job as a Seattle Times sports writer after 11 years. I spent seven seasons covering the Seattle Seahawks as beat writer, even got to live out a dream and cover a Super Bowl (XL) live. I also covered the Mariners and most recently, Seattle Sounders of Major League Soccer. Always curious about soccer, I became a huge fan of the beautiful game over the past two years. My background is newspapers, but I ran a pretty solid soccer blog in Seattle that really allowed me to be more creative and have fun, things I hope to bring to SB Nation Arizona. Sports is what I do, what I live, what I am passionate about, and I try to follow as many as I can. I'm told I do solid Marv Albert and Christopher Walken impressions, enjoy traveling and learning, and hope to one day be able to handle this Valley heat a little bit better.
