Pac-12 South standings 2012: Arizona State still tied for first after loss

Matt Kartozian-US PRESSWIRE

Arizona State remains tied for first in the Pac-12 South division standings after losing to Oregon.

Arizona State fell out of the polls after a 43-21 loss to Oregon last Thursday but they remain tied for first place in the Pac-12 South division with USC.

Brad Denny of House of Sparky makes a list of things that the Sun Devils must accomplish to continue their successful season and at the forefront is conquering the tough schedule ahead.

After hosting UCLA at home this Saturday, Arizona State will finish the season with three road games in four weeks versus No. 7 Oregon State, No.9 USC and in-state rival Arizona.

The Sun Devils are currently tied with USC for first place in the Pac-12 South division with one loss.

Kyle Kensing of Arizona Desert Swarm applauds Arizona for not only ending its three-game losing streak with a 52-17 win over Washington on Saturday but also beating a team that they should beat. Arizona's three consecutive losses were to No. 3 Oregon, No. 18 Oregon State and No. 18 Stanford -- three teams that have combined for just two losses.
