ASU vs. Cal St Northridge final score: Jordan Bachynski notches triple-double in 87-76 Sun Devils win

ASU saw a historic effort from Jordan Bachynski in an easy victory on Saturday,

Arizona State survived an early challenge from Cal State Northridge and cruised to a 87-76 victory behind the Sun Devils' first-ever triple-double from center Jordan Bachynkski. The big man set a school record with 12 blocks, adding in 13 points and 12 rebounds.

CSUN was within five points at 31-26 with just 4:28 to go in the first half, but the Sun Devlis were able to stretch their lead to double-digits by halftime and was never challenged in the final 20 minutes.

The Sun Devils got balanced scoring, with all five starters in double-figures. Jahii Carson led the way with 21 points, making 11 of 14 foul shots. Evan Gordon added points on 6 of 9 shooting, including 4 of 6 on three-pointers.

ASU was highly efficient, posting a 58 effective field goal percentage. They also dominated from the foul line, shooting eight free throws for every ten field goal attempts. CSUN could only muster 12 total free throw chances on 65 shots from the field.

The win gives the Sun Devils an 8-1 record on the year, while Northridge falls to 7-3.
