Jahii Carson had 18 points and eight assists to lead the way for the Sun Devils in a 76-62 win in Lubbock.
After a slow start, the Arizona St. Sun Devils went on a 17-2 run in the first half and never trailed, cruising to a 77-62 win over the Texas Tech Red Raiders on Saturday in Lubbock.
Texas Tech (5-4) put up a bit of a fight and managed to shrink Arizona State's lead to four points following a Trency Jackson layup with 17:12, but the Sun Devils fought back and extended their lead to 15 points with 4:20 to in the half, essentially putting the game out of reach.
Jahii Carson and Jonathan Gilling led the way for the Sun Devils (10-2) with 18 points a piece. Senior swingman Carrick Felix added 13 points and junior Guard Evan Gordon chipped in with 12 points of his own in the win.
The Red Raiders were paced by 11 points and eight rebounds from forward Jaye Crockett, while forward Jordan Tolbert and guard Josh Gray added 10 points a piece in a losing effort.
