Pac-12 Tournament 2012 Bracket Reactions: Stanford Blows Past Arizona State

Stay connected for news and updates

Round one of the Pac-12 tournament is finished. Here's a quick reaction from the House of Sparky of Arizona State's 85-65 loss to Stanford on Wednesday:

Stanford 85, Arizona State 65

This Pac-12 Tournament loss has to be viewed as a bit of a disappointment given ASU's solid play against the Arizona Wildcats in Sunday's 87-80 win. That game could have been a springboard to an exciting tournament run. Instead, the ghosts of ASU's season re-emerged and prevented the Sun Devils from moving on. (Via: House of Sparky)

The other big news coming out of the Pac-12 tournament on Wednesday was the suspension of Arizona guard Josiah Turner.

Here's the take from Arizona State Desert Swarm:

At the very least, this is a sign the guy hasn't learned his lesson.

We can speculate on his position with the team later, but for now, this is what we know: Arizona is without its starting point guard and even though back-up Jordin Mayes has returned from injury, he's been off and on the court since summertime, when he underwent foot surgery.
