Throw out the records this Sunday when the Arizona St. Sun Devils and Arizona Wildcats tangle for bragging rights before the Pac-12 Tournament.
One team is 21-9 and the other is 9-20 but throw out the records this Sunday when the Arizona St. Sun Devils and Arizona Wildcats tangle for bragging rights before the Pac-12 Tournament.
The Wildcats need to avoid a rivalry game upset this Sunday against the Sun Devils if they want to keep any doubts about their NCAA Tournament worthiness at bay. Even with a win, they'll need to show some muscle in at least a few games of the league tournament to solidify a bid thanks to the soft conference schedule.
The Sun Devils are playing purely for pride at this point, though a run through the Pac-12 Conference Tournament isn't out of the question given the play this year.
Arizona won the first match-up back in December, 68-51.
