Kyle Fogg Named Pac-12 Player Of The Week

Stay connected for news and updates

The Arizona Wildcats pretty much need to win almost all of their remaining games to have any hope of winning the Pac-12. They got two crucial home wins against the USC Trojans and the UCLA Bruins, although neither win came easy. They needed someone to lead them.

Senior Kyle Fogg was up to the challenge, submitting two great performances. On Saturday Fogg put up 20 points and nine rebounds, with 16 points coming in the final ten minutes and a big three that helped Arizona nudge UCLA. Fogg put up 16 points, 12 rebounds and 2 assists on Thursday against USC to help the Wildcats on their way to victory.

From the press release:

Fogg averaged 18.0 points on 10-of-23 (.435) field goal shooting, 4-of-10 (.400) three-point shooting and 12-of-16 (.750) shooting from the free throw line. He also contributed an average of 10.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists. Fogg performed on defense as well, allowing his primary defensive assignments to shoot 5-of-26 (.192) from the field and combine for 12 points over the two games.
