RB DJ Foster Narrows List: Arizona State And USC In The Mix

Stay connected for news and updates

Highly-rated RB DJ Foster has narrowed his list of college choices down to two schools, with Arizona State and USC still in play.

Foster, a Scottsdale, AZ native, took an official visit to Arizona State back in November, but the program has undergone substantial change with the firing of head coach Dennis Erickson and subsequent hiring of Todd Graham from the University of Pittsburgh.

According to East Valley Tribune writer Kyle Odegard, the Sun Devils have the inside track on the star back.

"The Trojans are making a late run, and the opportunity to compete for a national championship as a true freshman must be enticing. But Foster has always been a fan of hometown Arizona State and that's probably where he ends up." -- Kyle Odegard, East Valley Tribune

Besides his hometown ties, the case for Foster ending up at Arizona State is further strengthened due to speculation that his high school coach, John Sanders, is likely to be hired to Graham's staff.
