Brandon Ashley Visits Arizona Wildcats, Meets With Sean Miller

Brandon Ashley could be nearing a decision on which college he will attend next fall. The five-star big man visited Tucson and the Arizona Wildcats on Sunday after spending his weekend in Los Angeles at the Boost Mobile Elite 24 Game. He reportedly had a great visit to the campus and it appears UA's lead in his recruitment has only increased after the unexpected visit.

Ashley, who will play his senior season at basketball powerhouse Findlay Prep in Nevada, is the most coveted forward on the west coast and is one of the best prospects in the country. A commitment to Sean Miller's program at Arizona would be absolutely huge for the Wildcats.

The other teams listed in Ashley's top-four are the Oregon Ducks, Kentucky Wildcats and UCLA Bruins. While it is always concerning to a fan whenever they see UK and John Calipari's name involved in a recruitment, it appears to be a two team race between Oregon and Arizona at this point. That being said, he is Arizona's to lose, according to PointGuardU and other recruiting websites.

Stay tuned. A commitment could be coming soon after the great visit.
