Missouri took advantage of another short field created by more special teams woes. He managed to get his punt off, but Missouri needed just five plays to convert the 33-yard field into a touchdown.
After a first half of offensive struggles, Arizona State started the third quarter by moving to Missouri's 34-yard line, but a sack and a false-start forced the Devils to punt.
Late in the quarter, Missouri botched a punt of its own, giving Arizona State a short field. Taylor Kelly currently has the Sun Devils in business at Missouri's 10-yard line at the quarter's end.
