NFL Mock Draft: Mike Mayock Not Impressed With Vontaze Burfict

Ever since coming to Arizona State University and blowing up players right and left, people have talked about Vontaze Burfict's playing on Sundays as a member of the NFL. However, in 2011 he had a subpar year, for whatever reason. Even still, many draft experts expect him to be a first round pick.

NFL Network draft guy Mike Mayock finally busted out some tape on Burfict.

According to Mayock, Burfict "lacks instincts, runs around blocks, gets enveloped by bigger people," and also doesn't see Burfict as a first-round pick at all.

It's hard to deny his physical talents, but with Burfict also comes with a bunch of baggage.

Will he end up falling out of the first round? It's hard to say, but as it always happens, be ready for more players to get poor scouting reports.
