The winner of The Duel In The Desert could have a leg up on offseason recruiting in the state of Arizona.
The Arizona Wildcats will play host to the Arizona St. Sun Devils as the two teams wrap up their regular-season schedule on Friday night in Tucson for the storied Territorial Cup.
The No. 24 Wildcats (7-4, 4-4 Pac 12) are favored by three points and are coming off a 34-24 win over the Utah Utes last Sunday. Running back Ka'Deem Carey led the way for Arizona with 204 yards and one touchdown on 26 carries.
Arizona State (6-5, 4-4 Pac 12) crushed the Washington St. Cougars last Saturday, 46-7, in an impressive defensive showing. The Sun Devils relied heavily on the blitz and are expected to employ similar tactics against the high-powered Wildcats offense.
