Arizona Vs. Colorado score update: Wildcats pull away in 3rd, lead 49-17

Stay connected for news and updates

The Arizona Wildcats fell behind early, but have stormed back to take a commanding 49-17 lead into the fourth quarter. The Wildcats have scored touchdowns on seven-consecutive drives since Colorado took a 7-0 lead.

Running back Ka'Deem Carey is having an all-world day. Carey has 293 yards and four touchdowns on just 21 carries. The total is an Arizona single-game rushing record. He has accounted for the majority of the Wildcats offense on Saturday afternoon.

The Wildcats had three touchdown drives in the third quarter to blow the game open. Arizona hasn't needed much from quarterback B.J. Denker, but he has been efficient. Denker has completed 11/13 passes for 140 yards and two scores. He also has rushed the ball six times for 23 yards and a touchdown.

A win would give Arizona six and make them bowl eligible with two games to play. Colorado has the ball as the fourth quarter begins.
