The Arizona Wildcats used a big surge late in the half to grab momentum against Florida.

A surge late in the half has given No. 5 Arizona all the momentum against No. 8 Florida, yet the Wildcats still trail at the half, 32-29.

Arizona struggled with getting shots to sink for most of the first half, hitting on just 1-of-7 from long range while shooting just 33 percent from the floor. Combined with eight turnovers, the struggles led to a 30-19 Florida lead with just over four minutes remaining in the half.

Arizona would then go on a 10-2 run to close out the half, highlighted by two big three-pointers from Nick Johnson and a Solomon Hill dunk to end regulation and give the Gators just a three-point lead at halftime.

Johnson was 2-of-5 from the floor but finished the half with eight points, while Brandon Ashley added three defensive rebounds. Erik Murphy led the Gators in the first half with 10 points and three offensive rebounds.
