The Arizona Diamondbacks have won the first two games of their four game series against the Los Angeles Dodgers, and they'll send pitching prospect Tyler Skaggs (1-1, 2.92 ERA) to the hill in search of their third straight win. The Diamondbacks posted a 4-3 victory in 11 innings on Friday night.

Skaggs allowed three runs, two of them earned, on five hits in 5 2/3 innings on his last outing, showing some control problems as he struck out five, walked two and hit two batters. Prior to that he lasted 6 2/3 innings against the Miami Marlins, giving up two runs on three hits while striking out four and walking five. He'll face off with Josh Beckett (5-12, 5.21 ERA), making his second start for Los Angeles. Beckett allowed three runs on seven hits in 5 2/3 innings in his last outing, striking out six and walking three in a 10-0 Dodgers loss.
