The Diamondbacks left Game 1 versus the San Diego Padres on Friday night with a 4-3 loss. They hope to get revenge and even the series tonight.
Arizona will start Daniel Hudson (2-4, 5.30 ERA). Hudson is winless on the road so far this season (0-2), but he did get his second straight win at home in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Chicago Cubs. Hudson will need to replicate these results on the road if he hopes to break the Diamondbacks' current six-game road losing streak.
The Padres will start Dustin Moseley (1-3, 1.63 ERA). So far this season, the Padres have struggled hitting the ball (they claim ownership of the lowest batting average in all of Major League Baseball this season with a collective .216 batting average). Moseley will have to pitch a very good game if the Padres keep struggling at bat.
Saturday's game starts at 7:05 p.m. on Fox Sports Arizona. Make sure to check out the live game thread at AZ Snake Pit.
