Whoever made the opening line for the Eagles vs. Cardinals game obviously wasn't watching Arizona's 20-18 upset of the Patriots this past weekend.
The Philadelphia Eagles (2-0) head into town to take on the Arizona Cardinals (2-0) in a battle of the undefeateds next Sunday with the visitors currently as the early favorites.
The Cardinals are four-point underdogs for this weekend's NFC clash, according to all the major sportsbooks. But if you consider yourself a gambler, it might be wise to not bet against Arizona's chances on Sunday.
The New England Patriots were favored by 13.5 points over the Cardiac Cardinals this past weekend yet still fell 20-18 to an Arizona team who has won seven of their last eight games. Additionally, the Eagles were 14-point favorites when the Cardinals came into Philly and stunned them 21-17 in Week 10 of last season.
Still, there's no denying this Philadelphia squad is much improved from 2011, especially on the defensive end with their secondary being one of the league's finest (fourth in opponent's passing yards per game). But if the Cardinals can somehow knock off the Eagles for the second consecutive year, there will be no denying that they belong among the league's finest.
