Larry Fitzgerald Not Worried About His Quarterback Or The Replacement Referees

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver, Larry Fitzgerald was on Fox Sports Radio recently to discuss his team's upcoming matchup with the New England Patriots. Arizona enters the game as a two touchdown underdog according to many betting websites, but Fitz doesn't seemed too worried. And he isn't worried about who's throwing him the ball either.

Kevin Kolb is scheduled to be the starting quarterback this week with John Skelton still nursing an ankle injury. When asked whether or not that will affect him much, Fitzgerald had this to say (via Sports Radio Interviews):

"I don't think it's too big. This is not like high school, where between your starter and your backup you've got a senior going to a junior. Both these guys are professionals, they work really hard, they throw good balls. So I wouldn't say there's a huge discrepancy in terms of accuracy or placement of the ball. We're running the same exact system, and they both have been in the system for two years now, so I don't think there's that big of a difference."

Also, many fans have been upset with the officiating thus far. To this point, the NFL and the regular referees have not come to an agreement yet, leading the league to put replacements from all over the spectrum on the field. They may be messing up calls according to some, but Fitzgerald hasn't noticed a difference.

"I don't think there's much of a difference right now, but obviously there's been some calls missed along the way, but that's to be expected. These guys are coming in and doing the best they can."

We will see how they affect the game tomorrow between the Cardinals and the Patriots.
