The Arizona Cardinals announced on Wednesday morning that that they have signed rookie free agent and former Arizona Wildcat Gino Crump, and in a corresponding roster move have released cornerback Korey Lindsey. Per team policy, terms of Crump's deal were not disclosed.
Crump (6-2, 210) played just two seasons at the University of Arizona, seeing time in 23 games while making 11 starts for the Wildcats. He caught 65 receptions for 610 yards and two touchdowns during the 2011-12 season after grabbing four receptions for 39 yards the year before.
Crump went to Glendale Community College for a few years starting in 2007 before transferring as a redshirt to West Virginia in 2008. He joined the University of Arizona in 2009, sitting out that season as a transfer.
