Arizona Cardinals 2012 OTAs Start Tuesday

The Arizona Cardinals have the remainder of their offseason schedule all set up.

Cardinals minicamp will be June 12th through the 14th, and OTAs will be held Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday this week on May 29th, May 30th, 31st. There will be additional OTAs on June 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th next week. None of the OTAs will be open to the public, and there will only be one minicamp practice that' will end up being open: June 13, the Fan Fest Event in the University of Phoenix Stadium.

Darren Urban of the Cardinals blog had further details as well. OTAs don't allow live contact; players can wear helmets, but no shells and pads. OTAs are places where Cardinals hope to show off their technique and ability for the coaches to see. Players won't win roster spots with their performances, but they'll go a long way to doing so.

Talk about the Cardinals and their OTAs by heading on over to Revenge of the Birds.
