2012 NFL Free Agency: Peyton Manning Chooses Denver Broncos, According To Reports

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter and Chris Mortensen, the Peyton Manning sweepstakes are over and the Denver Broncos have been declared the victor.

Manning's agent, Tom Condon, has been instructed to negotiate the details of a contract that would officially end a free-agency process that began with Manning's release from the Indianapolis Colts on March 7.'

According to the ESPN report, Manning also called to inform the San Francisco 49ers and Tennessee Titans to inform them of the decision. Manning could sign for five-years, $95 million.

So, where does that leave the Cardinals?

It leaves them in the same place they were already. Once Kevin Kolb received his $7 million dollar roster bonus, it effectively knocked the Cardinals out of the running for Manning. Looks like it's Kolb, once again, for the Cardinals and for Cards fans, let's hope that the second go-around is better than the first.
