Cardinals safety Kerry Rhodes missed practice on Thursday due to an illness.

Arizona safety Kerry Rhodes was one of five Cardinals who missed practice on Thursday. Rhodes sat out with an illness.

In addition to Rhodes, wide receivers LaRon Byrd and Early Doucet, offensive tackle Nate Potter and fullback Anthony Sherman also missed practice. Doucet has missed the previous two games due a concussion. Potter has started the last seven games at left tackle, but he has missed practice both days this week with an ankle injury.

While five players missed practice, the Cardinals did get some good news on the injury front on Thursday. After not practicing on Wednesday due to an illness, safety Adrian Wilson returned on Thursday as a limited participant. Defensive tackle Dan Williams, safety Rashad Johnson and safety James Sanders all practiced fully on Thursday after being limited on Wednesday. Johnson and Williams have been limited by hamstring injuries, and Sanders has an injured calf.
