Arizona Cardinals linebacker Reggie Walker could be making strong contributions for the team with Quentin Groves sidelined with a foot injury.

The Arizona Cardinals might have to utilize Reggie Walker sooner rather than later. Walker has been looking to play for quite some time, and he might be put into the rotation for the final few games. Josh Weinfuss of the Arizona Cardinals website filed this report.

Current Cardinals linebacker Quentin Groves is out after a foot injury and was limited in practice until Wednesday. Ken Whisenhunt was complimentary of Walker, saying he was performing well in the scheme and is at a good spot to perform well in outside linebacker. If Walker continues to execute the system he should be a future contender to start at the position.

Walker played 51 snaps Sunday, when the Cardinals beat the Detroit Lions to snap their nine game losing streak. Walker managed three tackled and hurried Lions quarterback Matt Stafford. Walker is modest about his accomplishments up to this point though, saying expectations have always been pretty high and he's performed alright relative to those expectations.
