Steven Bisig-USA TODAY Sports

All the basic information you need to know about the Detroit Lions and the Arizona Cardinals.

The Detroit Lions and the Arizona Cardinals are both on the outside looking in when it comes to the NFL playoff picture. The Lions and Cardinals are both 4-9, and neither team is going to the playoffs. Both teams have stumbled to the finish, and have a lot of rebuilding to think about this offseason.

The game will be on FOX at 1:05 PM PT, 4:05 PM ET.

With regards to injuries, the Cardinals have some issues. They had three players sit out Wednesday's practice, with wide receiver Early Doucet, defensive tackle Dan Williams, and defensive end Ronald Talley all missed practice. For the Lions, Detroit tight end Brandon Pettigrew and defensive tackle Nick Fairley were both prominently absent from practice this week. Safety Don Carey and wideout Calvin Johnson were limited.

The Cardinals are on a pretty incredible nine game losing streak, including flaming out in spectacular fashion to Seattle. The Lions are on their own losing streak, having lost their last five.
