Cardinals Vs. Rams score update: Ryan Lindley leads Cards to 7-0 1st quarter lead

Stay connected for news and updates

After six straight losses for the Arizona Cardinals, they wanted to get their offense going early against the St. Louis Rams, who have not won a game since their Week 5 win over Arizona, and they did.

After the defense forced a Rams punt on their first drive, the Ryan Lindley era began well. He led a 15-play, 91 yard drive that ended in a Beanie Wells one-yard touchdown run. On the drive, Beanie carried the ball six times for 15 yards and the score. Lindley was 7/8 on the drive for 59 yards, hitting Larry Fitzgerald three times and Rob Housler and Andre Roberts twice each.

For the first time in a while, the offense didn't look stuck. It is early, but for the first time in a long time, the feeling on offense is good.

They lead by a touchdown and have the ball to start the second quarter. Are the Cardinals on their way to ending their losing streak?
