The struggling Cardinals are heavy underdogs for their Week 11 clash with the high-powered Atlanta Falcons.
If the oddsmakers are right, this won't be the week in which the Arizona Cardinals put an end to their five-game losing streak. The Atlanta Falcons (8-1) are 9.5-point favorites for Sunday morning's game, according to Oddsshark.com.
With Atlanta's potent offense averaging 27.4 points per game and the Cardinals struggling to put points on the board (16.0 points per game) the over/under has been moved a more sensible 44, after opening at 45.5.
After starting the season a surprising 4-0, the Cardinals (4-5) have been mired in a losing streak that has them stuck near the cellar of the NFC West. The Falcons double the Cardinals perfect start, going 8-0 before a disappointing loss to the New Orleans Saints last Sunday. Atlanta currently has a comfortable three-game lead in the NFC South standings.
Kickoff is slated for 11 a.m. MT at the Georgia Dome on Sunday and the game will be televised on FOX.
