Arizona Cardinals, Week 6: Larry Fitzgerald not overlooking Bills

Scott Rovak-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

The Cardinals are looking to get back on track against the Bills, who have struggled defensively this season.

The Arizona Cardinals are coming off their first loss of the season and know they need to get back on the winning track if they hope to keep battling in a tough NFC West. Most experts feel the Cardinals will come away victorious over the Buffalo Bills on Sunday afternoon, but the players know they cannot overlook Buffalo and expect to win.

Larry Fitzgerald, who was frustrated after the team scored just three points against the Rams last week, is making sure his teammates do not become overconfident. Here is Adam Green of Arizona Sports with the latest.

"How can you be over-confident after scoring three points in a game," he said when asked if the Bills' struggling defense could present a different kind of challenge for the Cardinals offense. "How can you? That's not the attitude we have right now.

"We have the we have to prove ourselves attitude and we do. After putting a bad performance like that on national TV we have a lot that we need to improve on, and we need to go out there and show that we're capable of executing at that level."

If there is some good news for Arizona, it's that their Week 6 foes have surrendered an average of 277 passing yards this season, ranking them 26th in the NFL. They rank 30th in rushing yards allowed, giving up about 172 each week. The Cardinals may be banged up on the offensive side of the ball, but signs point to quite a few points being scored this weekend.
