NFL Mock Draft 2012: Cardinals Might Pick Up David DeCastro From Stanford

The Arizona Cardinals may have hurt their own spot in the draft selection by winning their final game of the regular season and finishing at .500, but they are still in solid shape with the No. 13 overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft.

The Cardinals need a lot of help on both sides of the ball, as was evidenced by their decidedly uneven play this season. They are likely to focus on their offensive line rather than picking up some specific offensive weapons. Draft website New NFL Draft seems to support this theory in their latest mock draft.

New NFL Draft suggests that the Cardinals might select a Stanford Cardinal in the first round, namely David DeCastro, whom the site ranks and the No. 1 guard in the 2012 draft. Here's what they have to say:

The Cardinals grab a very good Offensive Lineman out of Stanford. Not only can he play both Guard positions but I also believe that he has the ability to play the Right Tackle position. In this 2012 NFL Mock Draft I think the Cardinals could go for a defensive player as well. With that being said I think protecting their QB and helping with the running game is important.

The senior from Bellevue, Washington is 6'5" and weighs 310 pounds. His talent and versatility has been noted by many experts and evaluators.
