Beanie Wells Ready to Go Sunday Against Seahawks

Stay connected for news and updates

Despite causing some slight panic after sitting out of practice on Thursday, Arizona Cardinals running back Beanie Wells will be ready to go this Sunday against Seattle, he simply just needed a little rest.

Wells has been dealing with a hamstring problem, but confirmed his status via his Twitter account on Friday morning, as well as on the Cardinals radio program Big Red Rage:

“I just needed a little bit of rest,” he told host Paul Calvisi. “It’s nothing major at all.”

Beanie has gotten out of the gates with a bang thus far in 2011, racking up 183 rushing yards and two touchdowns through the first two weeks of the season, but has been known to have injury troubles throughout his career, thusly causing the undue anxiety about him taking the field this Sunday.
