At pick number 14, ideally the Rams would get some receiver help for Sam Bradford to throw to. But this draft has been about defense. Eight of the first 13 picks have been defensive players. Let us see who is the pick, as Cory Williams brings us the future rival of the Cardinals.
This mock draft has gone directions that no one expected, with talented defensive linemen falling far and quarterbacks galore picked early on. The St. Louis Rams don't need help at quarterback, with franchise QB Sam Bradford on the roster. The Rams could really use a quality wide receiver, but both top prospects are off the board. So realistically, improving the defense should be my main priority at this point. With the 14th pick in the 2011 SB Nation Arizona Mock NFL Draft, the Rams select Ryan Kerrigan, defensive end out of Purdue.Kerrigan is a fast DE who can make tackles. Any improvement for the Rams on this side of the ball is a win, and St. Louis will have to look for WR help a little later in the draft.
